Our brains process and assign emotions to every experience we have. But when we feel emotions, we often respond in two ways:
👉🏼 We focus on the reason of the emotion (“I’m frustrated because he didn’t do what I had asked.”)
👉🏼We talk ourselves out of it (“I think I’m overreacting.”)
