My original desire behind orchestrating Link's Awakening was to hear it in the context of the game. I had started out uploading the songs with the sound effects added in, but most people understandably felt it was too distracting when they just wanted to enjoy the music. Instead, now that I am finished, I can go back and do what I originally wanted to see. Here it is, a complete playthrough of the game, presented in high quality, 60fps glory, and without any interruptions or inane commentary! The arranged music has been painstakingly edited into each location as if it were the new soundtrack.

My first reaction is that wow, each dungeon has taken on a distinct personality, and the atmosphere is much more intense! When editing the music, I can barely get the music to loop more than once unless I literally just stand around doing nothing. This mirrors what I love about my experiences with earlier Final Fantasy games, where I would purposely park myself in an area just to listen to Nobuo Uematsu's beautiful music. I wished I had done a longer extended version of the overworld theme, because being constantly looped, it has started to sound dull. Other than that, I am proud of my work. It is unlikely Nintendo will remake this game in the near future, so here is my humble attempt to keep the legacy alive!
