This year’s Eurovision Song Contest will be hosted in Basel, Switzerland following Nemo’s iconic victory this year in Malmö

The Italian broadcaster RAI recently revealed that Lucio Corsi Canta will be representing the country this year with his song “Volevo essere un duro”. Coming in 2nd place behind Olly (who recently declined the invitation to compete in Eurovision in a statement) Lucio will now go on to represent Italy at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Basel taking place on the 13th, 15th & 17th May 2025
