Life as an Indian immigrant on an H-1B visa in the U.S. can be quite a struggle. Many Indians living there are facing a tough situation—they desperately want to visit their elderly parents back home in India, but fear they might not be able to return to their jobs in America. It's a dilemma that so many NRIs (Non-Resident Indians) are caught up in.

Take the example of an NRI from Texas, who has been living in the U.S. since October 2022. Like many, he’s on an H-1B visa, which allows him to work in the U.S., but the challenges of this visa make life difficult. He hasn’t been able to visit his parents in India since he arrived.
