Bataan Memorial Death March

Bataan memorial death march 2021, we throw on 40 pounds and walk 14.2 miles through the burning desert to honor the survivors of the Bataan death march in Bataan, Philippines during World War II. This annual marathon is usually held at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico but due to COIVD, the military decided to let everyone participate in the march wherever they are. The Bataan death march (event) honors veterans of WWII and the survivors of the actual Bataan Death March, it’s a great fitness workout and this was the farthest Jenny has ever hiked with weight.
