Francis Scott Key Bridge - Before The Collapse (2023)

Not long ago I was at the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore Maryland, filming the nearby abandoned island Fort Carol. I decided to refrain from adding any commentary to this video, since it has been discussed extensively elsewhere.

Uploading this footage to provide a little context, so people who aren't familiar with the area can see a bit more of what it looked like before the tragic collapse. It was a majestic structure... 1.6 miles long with a road deck that reached a height of 20 stories above the water. At 50 years old, it wasn't the most technologically advanced bridge and unfortunately in its design was uniquely susceptible to this type of ship strike. With that said, it was inspected regularly and was fully capable of meeting the day to day needs demanded of it.

My prayers are with all of those injured or killed as well as their families.
