On the sunny Sunday on 7 July 2024, We SMRs embarked on a thrilling bike ride, leaving behind the hustle of the city and immersing ourselves in the lush greenery and winding roads.

The Route: Our journey began at Paud Road, our meeting point, where the excitement buzzed in the air. The road stretched ahead, curving through dense forests and rolling terrain. As We Rode further, the scent of wet earth and the distant sound of waterfalls accompanied us. The narrow path led us deeper into the heart of the Sahyadri range. The curves of Tamhini Ghat are mesmerising for any Rider.

Tamhini Ghat Unfolds: As we ascended, the Tamhini Ghat revealed its magic. Verdant hills surrounded us, their slopes adorned with vibrant wildflowers. The road, though was flawless. It was during the monsoons that this place truly transformed. The rain had painted everything in shades of green, turning the landscape into a lush, inviting bed. Riding through dense mist was again mind blowing experience which is hard to describe in words.

Waterfalls and Serenity: Tamhini Ghat, welcomed us with open arms. Here, waterfalls cascaded down moss-covered rocks, creating a symphony of nature’s elements. We paused to feel the cool mist on our face, the sound of rushing water drowning out any worries. The Tamhini Ghat was more than a road; it was an experience—a sensory delight.

Conclusion: As we rode downhill, the wind whispered secrets of the mountains. The thrill of conquering the ghat mingled with the tranquillity of the surroundings. You knew that this ride would stay etched in your memory—a Sunday well spent, a communion with nature, and a reminder that sometimes, the journey matters more than the destination.
