Gore Verbinski's Pirates of the Caribbean sequels didn't get everything right, but when it came to the film's villain Davy Jones, they absolutely managed surpassed the original. That's in huge thanks to Bill Nighy's animated performance, combined with the revolutionary technology created by ILM to bring it to life.
