Pamir Skyroad Towards Afghan Wakhan Corridor 🇨🇳🇦🇫 I S2, EP89

I am leaving the Karakorum Highway to drive towards one of the most isolated countries, Afghanistan. Afghanistan shares a short border line with China in a region between Pamir and Hindu Kush mountains called the Wakhan Corridor. In the past the Wakhan Corridor was one of the major trade routes through central Asia connecting different cultures as early as Han Dynasty.
On my way I stopped by a Kyrgyz Village inside Wakhan Corridor who invited me to their home. I eventually reached the famous Pamir Skyroad which is one of the most curvy roads in the world, having 639 turns in only 30km.
