In our third instalment of the Teaching & Learning Lunch Seminar Series, Dr. Sara Barron presents "Building Classroom Community: Online Tools to Facilitate Dialogue between Class Sessions"

In this presentation, Dr. Barron demonstrates two learning tools – Padlet and Perusal – inherently discussion-based online platforms that can extend and enrich classroom conversations. The talk reflects on challenges and successes in adopting these tools across a range of learning environments and suggests their potential in building classroom community.
