In this video Heimler walks you through Unit 5 Topic 1 of the AP Government curriculum which is all about who has the right to vote (the franchise) and what models of voting behavior govern their choices in the voting booth.

Over time more and more people have had the franchise extended to them thanks to various pieces of legislation and constitutional amendments.

The four models are rational choice voting, retrospective voting, prospective voting, and party-line voting.
