Dindigul To Kodaikanal Via Pandrimalai is An Adventurous Route to Reach Kodaikanal. The Usual Route to Kodaikanal is Through Batlagundu Which Will be Around 95KM with An Estimated Time of 2 Hours and 30 Mins ! We Decided to Go Via Pandrimalai to Reach Kodaikanal which is A Bit Long (115KM) and Will Take An Hour Extra Too!

We started our Trip From Dindigul and Started Travelling Towards pandrimalai to kodaikanal route, There will be a check post after hanumanthrayan kottai which is opened only during the day.
Checkpost Timings: 6AM to 4.30PM
If you are going later they won't allow you since there is a danger of wild animals during the night, so always plan in the morning to reach on time

Though The Roads are Narrow, This Route is Scenic with Less Vehicles and Has Many Unexplored Place on The Way. We didn't find any shops till we reached Pandrimalai where you can get some snacks and stuff. There isn't any petrol bunks on this road either so plan accordingly! Before Pandrimalai You Can Find a Place called Amaidhi Solai, A Small Waterfalls inside the Forest which can be visited if you are travelling after monsoon. kodaikanal hidden spots can be found along this kodaikanal route video with many view points and waterfalls

From pandrimalai tourist places We Travelled to Thandikudi, Pannaikadu, Perumal malai and Reached Kodaikanal. The Other Notable Tourist Places Would Be Pula Veli Falls and Kadhavu Malai Shivan Temple (2 Hours Trek) which will be a bit off the route to kodaikanal.
