History of World Arthritis Day

World Arthritis Day (WAD) was first celebrated in the year 1996.

It was established by the Arthritis and Rheumatism International (ARI).

WAD recognize and raise awareness of arthritis and how it affects the lives of those who suffer with it.

Research shows that arthritis has been existing in humans back from 4500 BC.

The researchers have found out that it is one of the most common disorders of the prehistoric peoples.
