Elevator Pitch: I prepare for the future

Physician-scientist Sairam Parthasarathy, MD, feels a responsibility for health and scientific literacy in the general public.

He witnessed firsthand how COVID-19 disproportionately affected people of color in the ICU. Now, he is part of a team addressing the current pandemic and its aftershocks as part of the Aegis Consortium, a strategic initiative at the University of Arizona Health Sciences.
