Athani: Bus Driver Attacked with Iron Rod Over Road Dispute

अथणी: मराठीत न बोलल्यामुळे बेळगाव बस कंडक्टरवर हल्ला झाल्याची घटना ताजी असतानाच अथणी येथे आणखी एक वादग्रस्त घटना घडली आहे.

बाइकला रस्ता दिला नाही या कारणावरून बस चालकावर लोखंडी रॉडने हल्ल्याचा प्रयत्न करण्यात आला. ही घटना अथणी तालुक्यातील हुलगबाळी क्रॉस येथे घडली.

अथणी आगारातून सप्तसागर गावाकडे जाणाऱ्या सरकारी बसचा चालक हुलगबाळी क्रॉसजवळ हॉर्न वाजवूनही बाइकस्वाराने रस्ता दिला नाही, यावरून दोघांमध्ये वाद झाला. हा वाद वाढत गेला आणि दोघांनी अश्लील शिवीगाळ करत एकमेकांना मारहाण केली. त्याच दरम्यान, बाइकस्वाराने जमिनीवर पडलेला लोखंडी रॉड उचलून बस चालकावर हल्ला करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला.

A bus driver was attacked with an iron rod over a dispute regarding giving way to a bike near Hulagbali Cross in Athani taluk.

The incident occurred when a government bus traveling from Athani to Saptasagar village honked at a biker near Hulagbali Cross. A verbal altercation ensued as the biker refused to give way. The argument quickly escalated, with both individuals exchanging abuses and engaging in a scuffle.

Amid the fight, the biker picked up an iron rod lying nearby and attempted to attack the bus driver. However, locals intervened, calmed the situation, and resolved the dispute.

The incident falls under the jurisdiction of the Athani police station.
