Khan el Khalili Bazaar (market) and Moez Street by Cairo Metro: Take Public Transit in Egypt!

Khan el Khalili (or written as Khan al-Khalilii and other variations) is a bustling bazaar (souq in Arabic, or market in English) in Cairo. But Moez Street is the real draw of this souq, because adjacent to Khan el Khalili is this UNESCO World Heritage street with 1,000 years of Islamic architecture and history.

It’s easy to see Khan el Khalili and Moez Street by Cairo Metro. The bazaar is only a few stops away from downtown Cairo, and then just a 15-minute walk from Bab el-Shaariya station.
