The age of artificial intelligence has arrived. As the development of artificial intelligence continues apace around the globe, Taiwan's government has an AI strategy of its own, with plans to invest NT$16 billion in AI technology over the next five years. The funds will go among other things to setting up robot development bases and the training of skilled workers. As robots enter the service sector in greater and greater numbers, the number of places where they can be seen working has grown as well- restaurants, banks, temples, and even airlines.
