One is 40 years old. The other is less than 5 years old. Which is more versatile?

The F-16 Fighting Falcon is over 40 years old and still being used by various air-forces around the world.
It was one of the most dangerous fighter jet for its time.

Compare that to the 5th generation stealth fighter the Sukhoi SU-57 which was first manufactured in 2020. That being one of today’s most dangerous jet fighters.

Will the SU-57 last as long as the F16? Or will advancements in technology and the move towards unmanned aircraft be the death of these and many other jet fighters?
