2 Hours from Hanoi Vietnam 🇻🇳 NINH BINH Travel Vlog

In this Vietnam Travel Vlog, I head to Ninh Binh. Known as Ha Long Bay on Land, it was my favorite place in Vietnam! Ninh Binh is full of gorgeous limestone cliffs and is really easy to bike around. Even better? It's less than 2 hours from Hanoi! Many people go on day trips from Hanoi to Ninh Binh, however I decided to stay there overnight in the Tam Coc area. I started by renting a bicycle from my homestay before grabbing a coffee and heading to the Bich Dong Pagoda. The Bich Dong Pagoda is known as the second most beautiful cave in Vietnam. I explored the 3 levels of the pagoda before hiking around behind the pagoda where I stumbled upon a bunch of mountain goats! After Bich Dong, I biked 2 minutes back toward town to do the famous Ninh Binh boat tour. It's a really unique boat ride as they all paddle with their feet! They also boat through different caves. The longest cave took a whole minute to get to the other side! After the boat I had a delicious pho lunch at Phuong Restaurant right next to where the boat tours start. From there I jumped back on my bicycle and rode about 10 minutes away to the Thai Vi Temple. It's another beautiful temple with much less people than the other places I visited. From there I decided to bike to the main attraction of Ninh Binh: Hang Mua Lying Dragon. The bike ride there took a little over 20 minutes. While I had to bike along a main road for part of it, it was still a nice ride. Unfortunately around sunset, Hang Mua was SOOO busy!!! It didn't seem too safe to be on top of the lying dragon with so many people as there isn't much room to walk. I took some drone videos around the lying dragon, then biked back to Tam Coc before it got dark out. After showering at my homestay, I headed out in Tam Coc, Ninh Binh for some dinner. I ended up going to a place called T-Pub which had great pizza and really cheap beer! It was the perfect ending to my busy day in Ninh Binh, Vietnam!
