Chelsea are a Mess. But Whose fault is it?
The trigger happy ownership has been a hugely successful business model for the club, helping Chelsea become one of the biggest teams in Europe over the past two decades. However, with managers getting less and less time to build for the future and the owners being unsatisfied with anything but a win, it’s meant early doors for a lot of talented managers. Their replacements are then forced to inherit squads that are not their own, are not given time to build something for the future, resulting in a mismatch of undercooked projects. Whatever the reason, chelsea’s business model seems to have finally caught up to them, and the club look lost. Who's to Blame?
Is it the mangers for not getting the most out of the players and not adapting to the pool of talent at their disposal? Or the players who often seem unwilling to adapt to the managers requirements, and look stuck in their old ways, or is it the ownership for not giving managers enough time for their ideas to take effect, and having too much say on which players they sign?
