Blue Renew Impressions

The University of Michigan School of Dentistry celebrated the completion of Blue Renew, the remodel and expansion of the school on September 16, 2022. About half of the existing building was renovated and a new addition with 48,000 square feet was built in what was previously the school’s courtyard.

Dental school organizers estimated that more than 1,000 people, including alumni, staff, and patients, toured the school during the two-hour open house Friday afternoon, with about 250 people joining school and university leaders for the ribbon-cutting program that followed.
