The film transports viewers to the harsh and dangerous world of 1820, where a person tries to survive on the edge of civilization and wild nature. Having learned to survive in the harshest of environments, the hunter faces the greatest challenge of his life: the search for a missing boy who may be lost in the wild or trapped by something far more sinister.

As he moves deeper into the forests, the landscape becomes increasingly disturbing, with new dangers at every turn. During his journey, the hunter faces hostile forces of nature, his own demons, and difficult moral choices that force him to rethink his mission. However, in addition to external enemies, there is something else in these woods - something lurking in the shadows, ready to strike a deadly blow. And the deeper the hero dives into Buckskin, the more he realizes that in order to save the child, he will have to overcome not only the wild nature, but also his own fear of the unknown.
