THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN UPDATED. SEE THE NEWER VERSION HERE: • UPDATE: Enter Egypt at Cairo Airport ...
So many travelers have reached out to ask about the requirements for traveling to Egypt during Covid-19. Egypt is completely open (with safety measures in place), but you need to have a PCR test taken 72 hours prior to your departure flight to the United States.
You also need proof of insurance (this has never been checked for me or for clients who have traveled with me), and a paper printout of the negative Covid-19 PCR test you received.
Learn from my experience in this video--you may be hassled at various airports when airline agents do not know the accurate requirements. It is a good idea to get multiple Covid-19 PCR tests and have the printouts with you so you can show a test taken 72 hours, 48 hours, and maybe even 24 hours prior to departure from the U.S.
Egypt Adventures Travel creates customized, curated travel experiences for adventurers who want to go beyond the basics when exploring Egypt.
