US-Japan Ospreys & Amphibious Forces in Action - Exercise Iron Fist 25

U.S. Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (31st MEU) and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force soldiers from the 1st Amphibious Rapid Deployment Regiment (1st ARDR) are conducting Exercise Iron Fist 25 from February 19 to March 7, 2025.”

Iron Fist is an annual exercise designed to enhance interoperability and strengthen the relationships among the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
