NASA's FIRST Crewed Spaceflight Capsules! #Shorts

I was recently at the Kennedy Space Center #KSC in Cape Canaveral, Florida, where I encountered NASA's two original crewed spaceflight modules- the Mercury and Gemini Vehicles, which launched into space aboard repurposed intercontinental ballistic missiles! These vehicles, which launched from right here in Cape Canaveral, were integral in developing the technology and practicing the manoeuvres necessary for the upcoming Apollo Programme, which some years later orbited the moon and landed astronauts on its surface.
