Overcoming a Life-Threatening Allergy

“I had just completed the meditation, and after I did, I asked the universe for a sign – to find out if these teachings were true; to make sure that I was putting my energy in the proper teachings. As soon as I made those words in my mind, BOOM. I got stung by a bee.”

At 13, Anna learned she had a life-threatening allergy when a reaction to a bee sting stopped her lungs and heart. In the decades since, she’d come to accept the allergy as a part of life; something for which she’d always need to be prepared.

When she first encountered Dr Joe’s work, Anna’s desire was simply for overall good health. The risk of anaphylactic shock had become so familiar to her, it wasn’t in her awareness or intentions when she began. She committed to a daily meditation practice for 30 days – then asked for a sign that she was on the right path.

The sign came – in that instant – in the form of a bee sting. Instead of rushing to the hospital, Anna went deep into meditation – and confirmed that she could heal herself.
