Allergies and what causes them

In this video I’ll be taking a look at the science of allergies. What causes substances that have no effect on most people to cause misery to others? Why do these reactions also have the ability to prove fatal in people suffering from anaphylaxis? In answering the question I’ll be looking at 4 types of immune cell. These are antigen presenting cells, T Cells (These become a specific type of T cell called a Th2 cell), B cells and Mast cells. I’ll also be having a look at the role of histamine.
