In this video from Sorta Healthy, we start to go over programming as a personal trainer. Programming or program design, is a fairly complicated process if you are a personal trainer who is taking all variables into consideration.

Due to this, our video here is just part one in a series that will focus entirely on how to program effectively as a personal trainer. In this video we dive into phasing which is a term that is often used along side Periodization. Both phasing and periodization are essential to creating a successful exercise program for personal training clients.

Unfortunately, some personal training certification programs over complicate this process, or gear their recommended phasing and periodization protocols towards athletes.

For most personal trainers, who work with average, everyday people, who want to lose weight, this information is only so useful.
