If you love shellfish like me you must check out @hokkaidoseafood in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!
The restaurant literally lets you pick out your own dinner! I went in thinking I was going to get the lobster but was shocked when I found out it was $130 so instead I settled on the jumbo river prawn that were almost as large as the lobster but priced at only about $20 for 2!
I eat a lot of shellfish and could barely taste the difference, that I was eating shrimp and not lobster and I honestly don’t even really like shrimp that much but this river prawn was AMAZING!
My entire order was under $50 and I also ordered fried oysters, grilled veggies, and seafood fried rice and everything was amazing. My only complaint was that there was took much food and this really was enough for 2 people.
This is my new favorite restaurant in Kuala Lumpur and I can’t wait to return soon.
