This is one of a few videos that I filmed while away on holiday in Wales, there’s more to come but unsure of the order they will be in.

Todays walk is on a gorgeous sunny warm evening about 9 o’clock and very peaceful to be out for an evening stroll.
Starting our walk on the slate covered hillsides of Penrhyn Quarry, the path takes us down the hillside, across the road and into our holiday home site of Bryn Llys, for our time away.
This is a beautiful place to stop and I wanted to share with you this lovely walk around the woods, lake, gardens and buildings of this rural holiday site.

A little bit about Bryn Llys:
Bry Llys is a 10 acre site in North Wales, sitting on the edge of Snowdonia National Park and Carneddan Mountains, also close to Anglesey it offers a great base to explore this area of Wales.
Historically a farm area for the nearby Manor House, Bryn Derwen, it dates back to the 1800’s. Once farmhouses, barns, a smithy, mill and livestock stables, the site has been developed into a perfect holiday and event area.
Buildings have been converted into a range of self-catering accommodation, there is also small secluded area for caravan and motorhomes.
Beautiful mountain scenery surrounds the site which has a stunning lake, woodland walkways and a meadow. The Dutch barn offers a space for events and there is a miniature 5 inch gauge garden railway run by enthusiasts.
Lots to explore on the site or just sit and overlooking the lake, birdwatch from the hide or relax at one of the firepits.
Big thank you on our visit to Carlo the owner, who has a wealth of knowledge regarding what’s available in the area, as well as walking and cycle paths and was always happy to help.
