Caroline Giegerich on Getting Family Support Recovering From Addiction

In Chapter 4 of 12 in her 2014 Capture Your Flag interview, TEDx speaker and recovering digital addict Caroline Giegerich answers "Where Has Your Family Been Most Supportive in Your Career Development?" Giegerich shares how her family has been a trusted source of support and insight through her challenges facing and recovering from digital addiction. She notes that because family knows her best they are able to help her make decisions that embrace her strengths and not weaknesses. Giegerich complements this by researching addiction through interviewing neuroscientists, psychologists, and other types of addicts.

Caroline Giegerich is a recovering digital addict who writes and speaks about digital addiction and detox. Giegerich previously worked in digital marketing with brands such as HBO, Netflix, Smashbox Cosmetics and Lionsgate. She earned a BA from Brown University.
