This week back by popular demand is our ROAD LESS TRAVELLED series where we visit some of the most beautiful, historic and out of the way towns that many travelling YouTubers don’t go.

We start this week’s adventure in one of Australia’s most Iconic towns, Gundagai. Home of a rich history, local hero’s and of course the famous DOG ON THE TUCKERBOX. We set up camp at a fantastic donation camp almost in the Main Street of town and use it as our base to explore this beautiful town.

Did you know that Gundagai was once the place of Australia’s most devastating disaster in 1852 during a massive flood over 75 people lost their lives but a shining light by the name of Yarri a local aboriginal became a hero. This extremely brave man with total disregard for his own safety saved the lives of over 49 people, one at a time!

After leaving Gundagai we head to the town of Tumbarumba located on the Western Slopes of the Snowy Mountains and set up camp for a few days at my favourite campsite for 2024.
