AI & Graduate Writing Futures: Resisting domestistication, negotiating possibilities

This video is the plenary presentation I gave at the Canadian Association for Studies in Discourse and Writing Conference 2024. I presented it again in the Faculty of Education, Doctoral Seminar Series at Memorial University. It's not a "how-to" video but more of my own journey in trying to understand what we are facing with generative AI. It's aimed at doctoral and master's thesis and research writers but also anyone teaching graduate writing or supervising dissertations.
