Waves breaking a couple miles offshore, bringing in driftwood from the Eel River. The one large rootwad, probably 35 feet diameter, was floating around in the surf like a cork in the preceding clip. Waves sliding through the mouth of Humboldt Bay, and flooded Eel River bottom lands to close out the day. We get storms like this here regularly, I just never get a chance to go check them out. This was a good one. I missed the high tide by an hour or so but got there shortly thereafter.
