Raymond E. Chen, MD is a fellowship-trained orthopedic shoulder & elbow surgeon at University Hospitals and an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He treats chronic and acute conditions of the shoulder and elbow and has specialized training in total shoulder replacements, shoulder arthroscopy, complex open shoulder reconstruction and elbow surgery.
As a highly trained subspecialist, Dr. Chen has focused his career on improving the lives of patients of all ages with shoulder problems, from young athletes to those with severe arthritis. He treats patients as if they were a family member and works together with each patient to create individualized goals and treatment plans.
