Bengia Tabb, Chairman Nyishi Art & Culture welfare society (NACWS) has addressed the recent issue involving singer Kon Waii Son. In his statement, he acknowledged that Kon Waii Son has recognized his mistake from the very beginning and has expressed remorse.

Kon Waii Son has yet again issued an apology regarding his actions on October 27, expressing deep regret and emphasizing that his intent was never to hurt anyone's sentiments. He conveyed that what transpired on stage happened spontaneously, in the heat of the moment, and not out of any malice or deliberate intent.
Kon Waii Son has further expressed his commitment to ensuring that such an incident will not happen again in the future. He has sincerely asked for forgiveness for his actions, taking full responsibility and hoping to rebuild trust with his audience and the community.
