M9 News Journalist Nishant sat with Actor Manchu Vishnu ahead of the release of his Kannappa on April 25th.

Speaking about the film, Vishnu said, "Kanappa is my dream project. I believe you will all love the story I trusted and bless Kannappa on April 25th".

Vishnu said the budget crossed the three-figure mark (100 Crore) a long ago but refused to say if it has gone up to 150 Crore or 200 Crore.

"More than the money, it is Siva Leela, I was able to do a film of this scale with such a big cast. I believe in talking about the story and technicalities than the budget because no one will care about the budget if I do not make an interesting film," Vishnu said.

Vishnu also revealed that Prabhas and Mohanlal did not charge a single rupee for the love they have on his father, Mohan Babu.

Vishnu was honest that he along with his market could not bear the weight of this project and so he had a strong cast. He says with the blessings of Lord Shiva, Kannappa will appeal to the people.

We asked him how many days Prabhas shot for the film? His Runtime in the film? If there are any war sequences in the movie? etc.

Vishnu had a clear opinion about how some trolls after him.

"There is a Paid and Targeted campaign going on about the film. You can see that the comments in other languages are positive but they are not in Telugu. That itself is an indication," he said.

We had a lengthy discussion about the Trolls and Paid campaigns.

We also asked him if the Love song released recently needs such a Glamour show by the heroine.

Vishnu also spoke about his political ambitions, his relationship with Chandrababu Naidu and Jagan, the issues around fee reimbursement etc.
