बेळगाव शहरातील रामतीर्थ नगरात जादूटोण्याच्या घटनांमध्ये वाढ झाल्याचा आरोप करण्यात आला आहे.
अम्म प्रतिष्ठानचे अध्यक्ष डॉ. बाळासाहेब उदगट्टी यांनी या प्रकारावर तीव्र नाराजी व्यक्त केली आहे.

महिला आणि लहान मुले या भागातून नियमित प्रवास करतात, त्यामुळे अशा अंधश्रद्धा पसरविणे अयोग्य आहे, असे त्यांनी स्पष्ट केले.
कोंबड्या, बकऱ्या आणि लिंबू यांचा वापर करून होणाऱ्या पूजा विधींवर त्यांनी संताप व्यक्त केला आहे.
The issue of black magic is reportedly increasing in Ramtheerth Nagar, Belagavi, prompting Dr. Balasaheb Udagatti, President of Amma Pratishthan, to strongly criticize those engaging in such practices.

Expressing his anger, Dr. Udagatti stated that women and children frequently pass through the area, and performing rituals involving sheep, chickens, and lemons is inappropriate and unacceptable.
