In Chapter 13 of 14 in her 2014 Capture Your Flag interview, non-profit executive Kyung B. Yoon answers "What has traveling to and from Korea to visit your partents taught you about yourself?" With aging parents living far away in South Korea, Yoon notes the ongoing consideration of how to best support their independent living from afar and prepare for changes that come with age. She notes how she and her siblings have come together in the process to make sure her parents have support from family, friends, church, and community. Kyung B. Yoon is the executive director of the Korean American Community Foundation (KACF) in New York City. An award-winning journalist and documentary film producer, Yoon earned an MA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University and a BA in History and Political Science at Wellesley College.
