More Northern California schools cancel, delay classes due to snow

Heavy snow from a winter storm that arrived in Northern California on Wednesday is forcing some school districts to cancel classes on Thursday as snowfall continues. The KCRA 3 weather team issued an Impact Day for Thursday because of how wet weather can affect outdoor activities and travel. Chain controls are in effect, reducing the speed limit on Interstate 80 to 30 mph and Highway 50 to 25 mph.
