STS-108 was the was the One hounded and seventh mission of the Space Shuttle program and the nineteenth flight of NASA youngest orbiter, Space Shuttle Endeavour (OV-108).
This mission was not only the Resupply mission to the International Space Station but was also the first U.S Manned spaceflight since the September 11 terrorist attacks and NASA wanted to pay tribute to the victims of the tragedy by flying some special payloads and to "Let Freedom Roar"

All major objectives and the crew landed back on Earth at Runway 33 at the Kennedy Space Center on December 17, 2001
