What is Nuclear Medicine in Cancer Diagnosis?

Dr. Kausik Chatterjee, MD, DRM, is an alumnus of North Bengal Medical College and did his post-graduation from Radiation Medicine Centre, TATA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, Mumbai.
He has 30 years of experience working in the field of Nuclear Medicine.
He earned a Fellowship in Oncology Imaging from Ville Marie Cancer Centre, McGill University, Montreal, Canada.
He was working with the National Cancer Institute, Nagpur, as a Senior Consultant and Head of the Nuclear Medicine Department before joining Anandaloke Multispeciality Hospital PET CT Scan Centre.
He presented original research papers in various National and International Conferences and received best paper awards in Asia Oceania Nuclear Medicine Conference, ANMPI Conference, National Consortium Of Breast Cancer of North America Conference, etc.
He also published several papers in National and International journals. He was an accredited teacher at Andhra University and Nagpur University and delivered lectures as Faculty in Master Classes for DNB Medical Oncology. He is also among the panel of teachers of the Radiation Safety Department, BARC and AERB.
He is a former member of the International Advisory Committee of the North American Consortium of Breast Cancer.
