Chikkodi Court Sentences Two to Life Imprisonment for Killing Woman Over Illicit Affair

अनैतिक संबंध उघडकीस आल्यानंतर समज दिल्यामुळे पत्नीची हत्या करणाऱ्या महिले आणि तिच्या प्रियकराला जन्मठेपेची शिक्षा आणि २ लाख १० हजार रुपयांचा दंड ठोठावण्यात आला आहे. चिक्कोडीच्या सातव्या अतिरिक्त जिल्हा आणि सत्र न्यायालयाने हा निकाल दिला.

दोषी ठरलेले आरोपी:

सुरेश करिगार यांची पत्नी, वय ३२ वर्षे
रामप्पा ऊर्फ रमेश केंचप्पा बस्तवाडे, वय २५ वर्षे
हे दोघेही बेल्लदबागेवाडी तालुका, हुक्केरी येथील रहिवासी आहेत.

या खटल्याची सुनावणी न्यायाधीश तारकेश्वर गौड पाटील यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली पार पडली. सरकारतर्फे सरकारी अभियोक्ता वाय. जी. तुंगल यांनी युक्तिवाद सादर केला.
The Chikkodi Seventh Additional District and Sessions Court has sentenced a woman and her lover to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of ₹2.10 lakh for murdering a woman who confronted them over their illicit relationship.

The convicted individuals are Smt. Suresh Karigar (32) and Ramappa alias Ramesh Kenchappa Bastawade (25), both residents of Bellad Bagewadi in Hukkeri taluk.

The verdict was delivered by Judge Tarakeshwar Gowda Patil, with government prosecutor Y.G. Tungal representing the prosecution.

The case involved an illicit relationship between the accused Sudha and Ramappa. The victim, Bhagyashree, had witnessed their affair and informed her husband, Chennappa Karigar. She also confronted Sudha, advising her to end the relationship.
