In Mombasa, lepers and those infected by malaria, HIV, and Tuberculosis were sent to a camp known as Tumbe - meaning “place for rejected people” where they hid in their homes. But that community is now known as Blessed Camp. There, Mocha Club works with locals to provide healthcare, food, education, job training, counseling and compassion for the marginalized.
For $18 a month, you can provide the necessities for these individuals to live a full and vibrant life unrestrained by society’s judgments. It’s a simple as giving up the cost of a few mochas a month. Join the Club.
