Star Citizen AA SR011 The 2945 Constellation Taurus!

GamesCom 2014 is over and what a show it was. Lot's of game news, however, here we only focus on one, Star Citizen.

Chris Roberts and team gave their presentation to some 2000 Backers and Journalists during which they showed off Racing, FPS, New hangars and Game Modes for Arena Commander, and of course the new 2945 Constellation Variants, Commercial and Brochure.

Four models of Constellation were announced.

Today were are reviewing the Taurus.

If moving cargo from one end of UEE Space to the other... While looking gorgeous at the same time is your dream, The Constellation Taurus is your ship. It's extended Cargo Bay, Fuel Efficient Engines and Power Plant give the ship unmatched fuel economy for hauling since the trains of the both and 21st century. This hip is purpose built and accomplishes the task at hand like no other.

When I first saw the description of the Taurus i passed over it. I mean I just melted my Freelancer Max to buy my Aquila since it kind of bored me. But after getting a chance to see the Taurus in Bigbadabum's Hangar (Thank you so much for allowing me access to your most precious things) I am now hooked. It all makes sense now.. Moving cargo = Making UEE Credits... so Moving Cargo + Constellation Taurus = Make lots of UEE Credits. I like this equation. It just rings inside my head like an idea that you just know is genius.

There is no denying that the Taurus is a Constellation. The Alterations give it a slightly different look, however the profile is that beautiful sexy lined starship we have grown to love over the past 10 years. The changes are slight, however, without the lower turret and the support provided by a p52 Merlin, you will need escort on missions close to Lawless Space or the Vandal Border.

So if you want to Haul and do not own a ship yet here is the progression of cargo vessels currently offered.

Aurora CL - 38 Freight Units

Freelancer Base - 168 Freight Units

Freelancer Max - 280 Freight Units

Retaliator - 720 Freight Units

Starfarer - 900 Freight Units (Liquid) Mostly Shanks Food Paste

Constellation Andromeda - 1100 Freight Units

Constellation Taurus - 1900 Freight Units

Caterpillar - 3200 Freight units

Banu Merchantman - 6000 Freight Units

Drake Hull C - 9000 Freight Units

I have left off the new ships that were announced last year that do not haul cargo but collect it instead. Those are the RSI Orion and the Aegis Dynamics Surveyor.

As you can see from my list the Taurus is one of the Top Cargo Ships but is also one of the only ones with a chance to survive pirate or Vandal attack alone. If this ship is for you... go out and get one before the rest of the UEE Merchants grab them up and start moving cargo and taking away your potential profits.
