My 5 Favorite Films of 1955
Thanks for watching Classic Cinema!
This channel is for classic movie buffs, and for movie lovers who are looking for something more engaging than the current flicks.
America was enjoying a new height of prosperity in the mid-50's. Consumerism was going strong, with most families owning a car and a TV. McDonald's introduced its first fast food restaurant. Rock and roll music was sweeping the country with performers like Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry and Buddy Holly taking over the radio waves.
In this video, I will share my five favorite films of 1955. There were many classics to choose from, but these five movies I have seen numerous times. Some of the best that year were: "Rebel Without A Cause", "Mister Roberts", "The Seven Year Itch", "All That Heaven Allows", and "Marty".
