‘Poro Choitali Shajhe’ is written by the National Poet of Bangladesh, Kazi Nazrul Islam. He describes the beauty of a woman as she dresses up on a spring evening, adorning herself in a Kusum flower-colored saree and a variety of jewelry. The story describes the aesthetic desires of a beholder who finds himself enamored by the beauty of someone he met accidentally, who happens to be dressing up for an occasion with a saree of such color.

The musical section of this track was produced and arranged by Ritu Raj’s late brother Prithwi Raj back in 2014 when they decided to release their first album, ‘RAJ’. After his demise in 2019, many of his works remain unpublished. In an effort to revive these compositions, the first song of the album, ‘Poro Choitali Shajhe’ is realized 10 years after conception.
