These people pay Lakhs of Rupees to Go to Canada, yet the Chindhigiri in their mindset, does not go away. This is unbelievable.

@shortmate8528

A little off topic but

On top of that, we have a false sense of shallow patriotism, which only fuels resentment towards Indians. Our love for the country is like the infatuation of a roadside chappri for a pretty girl—superficial and shallow. If people truly loved India as much as they claim online, we wouldn’t witness the kind of uncivilized behavior that’s so common. It doesn’t stem from genuine love for the country but from a toxic ego that many mistakenly tie to their sense of national pride.

When I was in sweden.. I was travelling from one city to Stockholm and it was long train journey ( approx 8 hrs ) and i bought ticket and i was sleeping and ticket checker lady came asked everyone to show ticket but she didn't woke me up and went later my friend informed me about that.. this is the level of trust

@anujartt

One day I was on my motorcycle and saw an auto driver ahead of me with a tag behind his auto 'I love my India'. I felt so proud. Then he broke the signal and went.

@RSidd

Reason why Indian passport is so weak.

@Chomusuke23

I am Sweden right now visiting my family and the level of trust these people have is insane. Today only I was traveling via a bus with my family. For some reason, the QR scanner was not working (we already bought the ticket, we needed to scan our online ticket while entering the bus, which is valid for a specific period) and the driver just let us in as he saw our QR code.
In India, I remember (in 2017) idiots flexing that they got Momo for free by showing a screenshot of an old transaction.
Sweden has been amazing!

@skullyreckile2227

The main problem is we don’t accept our flaws but we start blaming others.

@mkd7783

If you wanna go outside of India to live like an Indian, then please don't go

@33hetpatel

As an international student in Canada, I’ve observed a stark divide between two groups of students from India. On one hand, we have students from well-educated backgrounds who are here to build successful futures. On the other hand, there are those from underprivileged areas with limited education, who, unfortunately, reinforce negative stereotypes about Indian immigrants. This not only affects their image but also the reputation of the 1.8 million Indian immigrants here who are trying to thrive.

The IELTS requirement of 6.5 bands is too low. Many students who meet this requirement still struggle to meet the academic and social standards expected in Canada. Worse, some students who don’t even meet the 6.5 band score are using fake mark sheets to get into the country, which is alarming in a first-world country like Canada. The government needs to address this fraud urgently.

Moreover, the public-private college partnerships are part of the issue. Colleges are opening remote campuses in Toronto, to admit more students and increase profits. These campuses offer limited resources and admit students who often do not meet the proper academic standards, which strains the system even more.

The problem is that we don’t want Canadians to see the negative side of India. It is what it is, and it won’t change anytime soon. These students should remain in India for now because, as the country continues to develop rapidly, things will improve in 50 to 100 years. But for now, we can at least prevent this by raising the IELTS requirement to 7.5 bands and stopping the fraudulent admissions process. If these measures aren’t taken, the situation will continue to damage the reputation of Indian students and Canada’s education system as a whole.

The manager of Walmart who is Indian near my area Ottawa was fired. He was trusted with changing cash tills. He was stealing money for the last 6 months. He got fired. He is underground. He changed his phone address lol. Because of him, now management has become stricter. My friend was telling me the security are checking every bag of Indian international student who do night shift merchandizing.

@scootyplus

reddit par comment kar dia tha ki india is low trust society... 250 downvotes aa gaye. with no counter argument :)

@skuller2032

It is not even that, here in mumbai local, most people dont buy a ticket. I have met dudes who boast how they have been travelling mumbai rail and havent paid a single rupee ever, like it is something to be proud about.
And the worst part is that when you try to explain them something, you become uncool and they dont want to listen.
A serious test and training should happen while issuing passposts to indians.

@ANONYMOUS-vd8dy

Damnn Shwetabh bhaiya is always just giving his opinions on things which always pop up on my feed

@ricofdes476

I work in Greece for a reputed company and there are few Indian colleagues from that there had to be one rotten guy to ruin the whole reputation of Indians working there. That guy who earns like almost 2000 euro a month stole stationery worth 3000 to 4000 inr cause to save stationery money for his kids going to school back in India he got caught unexpectedly in the act cause of this act now we Indian working there are always looked down upon and even security checking is done everyday which never happened in the history of the company. Its a real shame just cause few idiots majority of innocent people got to take the heat

@madwanderer24

bhai shwetabh, indians actually do this in india as well and trust me when i say this. i have seen multiple people who buy things online, use them for a while and then return them. hell i have even seen people buy two similar looking products, keep the expensive one and return the cheaper one in the package of the expensive one. ye jo swapping ki baat kiya bande ne video ke shuru mein, woh india mein bhi hota actual mein hota hai.

@gokurockstar07

Stereotypes which are actually true-
1, Bad hygiene
2, lack of manners
3, simping on any girls
4, Can't handle critics

@Eren_Jaeger_

Shwetabh, I think this is a serious issue which needs to be raised at the highest level. This is really getting out of hands and it seems Indians seriously don’t care about their image

@jaymehta9638

That gas station story is true AF my sister used to work in a gas station when she newly shifted to Canada and many times, usually Indians come, fill the gas and leave without paying showing that they already swiped their card on gas pump machine due to which my sister had to compensate that much loss from her salary her total salary was $900 during 2015-16
