I appreciate that you make videos about Reykjavik's shops on an individual basis because I've looked at what you suggest as a Food Walk on your site and I confess that I don't want to accumulate in three hours 5 spots where we'd still eat something. When we have tea time, we don't eat anything in the evening. We made a note of the bakeries and coffee houses. We'll definitely be there. But we need to be more autonomous . I was very surprised to discover that you make your kleinur all year round. For us, it's only for carnival time. The recipe is identical. But my grandmother used rum for flavor. Like you, we love pastries and good bread. This will be one of the few countries we'll go to with the assurance that we'll have good bakeries. Not all European countries have a tea-room or coffee house culture like our own. Takk.
Coming to Iceland on Friday for vacation. Already booked your Food Tour- looking forward to try all delicious things!

BakaBaka was good. Deig is a fantastic tiny bakery though! Gotta try it!
A lot of this stuff like open crumb sourdough, cinnamon buns, you will find in any major city in any country, Tokyo, San Francisco ... including the faux rustic faux local wooden boards, baskets, chalkboards and handwritten signs
i love Baka place!
Everything I tried from Braud & Co was delicious! I'm coming back this summer during a 20hour layover I'll definitely try out Baka Baka
The first one I walked past today. The second one I actually got the very last cinnamon roll today
