Great podcast. You know this was an eye-opener for me many, many years ago when I was tracking everything so meticulously trying to lose lbs and I was so stagnant. I would track during the week but then I would have a cheat meal or whatever on let's say a Saturday evening and you really can undo all your hard work by doing that. 1 pound is only 3500 cal which really isn't that much when you think about it.
Great show Dr. Cabral. Personally for me it's still hard to gain weight on a healthy diet, even if I'm trying to gain weight. Of course I'm a vata body type that has trouble keeping weight on. I can easily gain weight on processed and fast foods but it all goes to my mid section hehe. BTW, nice daytime computer glasses! 😎
